  T oday we are trying to describe you the very basic English grammar rules and that's Rules of Tense. With the help of these rules, you will be able to identify the type of tense and you can also form new sentences very easily and quickly.  Tenses play a crucial role in the English language. It denotes the time an action takes place, whether sometime in the past , in the present or will take some time in the future . CHANGE THE VOICE

Voices are of two types: active and passive. Active Voice : In the active voice, the subject performs the action expressed by the verb. Passive Voice : In passive voice subject receives the action expressed by the verb. CHANGE THE VOICE. The teacher shouted at the student. (Subject is doer - Active Voice.) The student was shouted by the teacher. (Subject is receiver - Passive Voice.) General rules of conversion active voice to passive voice : 1.    The subject in the active voice becomes the object in the passive voice and the object in the active voice becomes the subject in the passive voice. 2.    Put ‘by’ in front of the subject in the passive voice. Use 3 rd  form of verb + is/ am/ are/ was/ were/ been/ being according to the tense in passive voice.
