DETERMINERS
Determiners
precede Nouns and determine the meaning of the Noun and modify them, which things we are
referring to.. Main Determiners. There can be only ONE main determiner in a noun phrase.
There
are four different types of determiners in English: articles, demonstratives,
quantifiers, and possessives.
Articles Determiners: a / an, the (A and an are indefinite articles, the is a definite article).
Demonstrative Determiners: this/that, these/those.
Possessive
Determiners: my, your, his, her, its,
our, their.
Quantifiers Determiners: all, every, most, many, much, some, few, little, any, no... Numbers cardinal and ordinal numbers double/twice/three times...
Interrogative Determiners: whose, what, which.
Pre-Determiners and Post-Determiners:
Pre-determiners
come before main determiners and post-determiners come after main determiners.
Examples
of Determiners
for identifying things are : a, an,
the. this, that, these, those. my, our, your, their, her, his, its,
one's, whose, some,
any, no, each, every, either, neither, much, many, more, most . a few,
fewer, fewest, all, whole, both, half, what, whatever, which, whichever ,
one, two, three, etc.

1. Neither of you are clever.
2. Dilip
can either sit here.
3. I
have some books.
4. That bike is mine.
5. Many shops are
here.
6. Those books are mine.
7. He threw all the cakes.
8. He
has read the whole book.
9. This is my beautiful house.
10. These
people are standing here.
11. There are fewer classes in our
area.
12. Book have a few pages.
13. There is little flower in a garden.
14.
He had seen the few fancy articles.
15. Students have been given much
homework.
16. There are millions of people all over the world.
