How to attempt the short questions in the (UNSEEN) passage ?

How to attempt the short questions in the (UNSEEN) passage ?

1) Read the sentence carefully and understand its meaning.

2) If you do not know the meaning of every word given, you can guess the meaning from the passage.

3) Read the questions and understand them well. The answer must be given in the same form and tense as that of the question.

4) Look for the answers in the passage. Write the answer in your own words. Don’t answer in the same way as given in passage.

TIPS FOR EXPANSION OF AN IDEA: Expansion means of Idea means you have to understand the proverb or statement given. You have to describe it, tell the meaning and idea given in the particular text. You have to extend a proverb or a statement given. Step 1: Understand the proverb. Most proverbs are symbolic. It should be analysed and interpreted.
