 A word can be both a noun and a verb. In fact, there are many words that can be used to name a person, place, or thing and also describe an action.

1. Question:

2. Answer:

3. Mind:

4. Order:

5. Colour:

The police will piece the story together after listening to all eyewitness. (Verb)

We get good return on investment in this bank. (Noun)
Once he went outside, he never returned.(Verb)

Actors are creator of fashion. (Noun)
She fashioned the clay into a pot. (Verb)

14. Line:
He drew a line through everything he had written. (noun)

15. Bank:
I need to go to the bank. (Noun)
The company is expected to bank more than five lakhs Rupees in car sales. (Verb)

23. Nest:
Eagle's nest is at top of mountain. (Noun)
She studied the nesting habits of the parrots. (Verb)

24. Work:
It's not easy to find work. (Noun)
I was working in the garden. (Verb)

25. Experience:
It was his first experience of dealing with people from another culture. (Noun)

26. Fish:
There were seven fishes in the pond. (Noun)
Fishermen were fishing in the sea.

TIPS FOR EXPANSION OF AN IDEA: Expansion means of Idea means you have to understand the proverb or statement given. You have to describe it, tell the meaning and idea given in the particular text. You have to extend a proverb or a statement given. Step 1: Understand the proverb. Most proverbs are symbolic. It should be analysed and interpreted. Reported speech

  In Direct speech, words are quoted directly with inverted commas. Words are inside the inverted commas.   Example- Minal said, “ I am studying”. In Indirect speech, words are quoted without inverted commas. Example – Minal said that she was studying .
