Appreciation of a poem.

Appreciation means to recognize the good qualities of someone. Some people like poetry, some like rhythm, some like rhyme or some enjoy imagery.

Points for critical appreciation of a poem: 

1) You should begin with good and nice introduction. 

2) You should mention the title and the name of the poet.      

3) You should write rhyme scheme and rhyming words used in the poem.

4) The central idea should be written in brief.

5) Mention the Figures of speech that are there.

6) Write about the special features of the poem, type of poem, language, implied meaning and Comment on the tone of the poem.

7) Write down the main line which have left a lasting impact on you.

8) Why you like the poem and how it effected you.
