TIPS FOR EXPANSION OF AN IDEA: Expansion means of Idea means you have to understand the proverb or statement given. You have to describe it, tell the meaning and idea given in the particular text. You have to extend a proverb or a statement given. Step 1: Understand the proverb. Most proverbs are symbolic. It should be analysed and interpreted. Step 2: When we come to know what the proverb means, explain the proverb in very simple words to convey the message carried in it, we should look for a suitable example, ideas or story to explain it.
